- Spearhead initiatives to reduce manual processes and mitigate associated risks, leveraging cutting-edge technology and tools.
- Design and implement a strategic roadmap for long-term changes to the control environment in the Billing organization to address root causes rather than “symptoms” of issues.
- Improve the issue and error reporting process to streamline details shared, speed up case timelines and status visibility, and dramatically reduce or beat longstanding SLAs.
- Enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
- Lead the charge in automating and optimizing our billing processes, removing blockers and increasing the speed with which we are able to bring in revenue.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of 140 professionals across Plano and Manila, producing thousands of invoices monthly.
- Manage a team of approx. 30 FTE involved in various day-to-day operational billing activities.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute operational improvement opportunities, crafting comprehensive plans, timelines, and KPIs to evidence their value.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership across Securities Services, to gain alignment and support for initiatives.
- Partner with Product and Intelligent Automation teams and other senior leaders across the business to deliver sustainable, impactful change.
- 10+ years of experience and demonstrated success in Strategy, Transformation, or Consulting, preferably with some degree of operational or technology focus
- Experience partnering with Risk, Controls, and/or Audit teams
- Proven ability to design, lead and execute strategic planning and process change, with strong attention to detail and thorough documentation of each step
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, leading and fostering a positive work environment while contributing to shared goals
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills, with the ability to design, build and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex business strategies to executive leaders
- Proficiency in data analysis, using tools such as Excel to extract insights and inform strategic decision-making processes
- Strong attention to detail in designing and implementing processes, ensuring accurate depiction of manual/automated controls and associated SLAs
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet ambitious strategic goals
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex business and collaborating with senior leadership
- Experience leading large organizations and rolling up your sleeves as part of an operational team
- Experience with defining and tracking newly established KPIs or OKRs to provide real-time insights into performance and progress
- Experience with delivering automation or systemic solutions to improve manual processes or tasks
- Billing experience helpful but not required
