Here, you'll play a pivotal role in operationally running part of the business, managing our Control environment, and revolutionizing the day-to-day processes within Client Billing Operations.As an Executive Director in the Billing Operations team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, leading efforts to streamline and enhance our billing processes. This unique position offers you the chance to work directly with the Global Head of Client Billing Operations, shaping the future of our business operations. You'll not only design strategic roadmaps but also roll up your sleeves to implement them, driving meaningful and measurable improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. This specific role will be a mix of Governance and Controls, including issue/error resolution and inquiry management, and Process Improvement, including overhauling SLAs and process steps that are less successful.Billing Operations is in the midst of an exciting operating model transformation, and this is a rare opportunity to be a trailblazer in a rapidly evolving organization.   • Spearhead initiatives to reduce manual processes and mitigate associated risks, leveraging cutting-edge technology and tools.
  • Design and implement a strategic roadmap for long-term changes to the control environment in the Billing organization to address root causes rather than “symptoms” of issues.
  • Improve the issue and error reporting process to streamline details shared, speed up case timelines and status visibility, and dramatically reduce or beat longstanding SLAs.
  • Enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
  • Lead the charge in automating and optimizing our billing processes, removing blockers and increasing the speed with which we are able to bring in revenue.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of 140 professionals across Plano and Manila, producing thousands of invoices monthly.
  • Manage a team of approx. 30 FTE involved in various day-to-day operational billing activities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute operational improvement opportunities, crafting comprehensive plans, timelines, and KPIs to evidence their value.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership across Securities Services, to gain alignment and support for initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and Intelligent Automation teams and other senior leaders across the business to deliver sustainable, impactful change.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years of experience and demonstrated success in Strategy, Transformation, or Consulting, preferably with some degree of operational or technology focus
  • Experience partnering with Risk, Controls, and/or Audit teams
  • Proven ability to design, lead and execute strategic planning and process change, with strong attention to detail and thorough documentation of each step
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, leading and fostering a positive work environment while contributing to shared goals
  • Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills, with the ability to design, build and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex business strategies to executive leaders
  • Proficiency in data analysis, using tools such as Excel to extract insights and inform strategic decision-making processes
  • Strong attention to detail in designing and implementing processes, ensuring accurate depiction of manual/automated controls and associated SLAs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet ambitious strategic goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex business and collaborating with senior leadership
  • Experience leading large organizations and rolling up your sleeves as part of an operational team
  • Experience with defining and tracking newly established KPIs or OKRs to provide real-time insights into performance and progress
  • Experience with delivering automation or systemic solutions to improve manual processes or tasks
  • Billing experience helpful but not required
