Dynata is looking for an Instructional Designer Specialist (IDS) to join our growing Learning and Development team. The IDS will collaborate with the business and colleagues to develop engaging In-person, virtual and e-learning curriculums to shorten the time to acquire new skills and ensure employees acquire a solid foundation of knowledge . RESPONSIBILITES Participate in client facing meetings to scope learning projects based on needs identified at a high level Conduct training needs analysis to align strategic learning programs with learner needs Define learning objectives, describe tasks and activities, estimate resource requirements, and create detailed design structure. Conduct learner and task analyses, tasks lists based on required competencies and align these to learning design plan and recommendations. Identify performance outcomes, strategies to deliver content, including consulting with business owners and subject matter experts to identify learning gaps and content requirements. Break down complex, technical processes into simple, logical steps. Support the creation of instructional materials (e-learning, videos, software tutorials, user guides, job aids, audio and video scripts, storyboards, assessments, etc.) that transform technical information into professionally written, engaging instruction. Design and develop blended and technology-enabled learning solutions, including web-based, instructor-led, virtual, on-the job, and self-directed learning resources. Support the development of technical/software related job aids and user guides that are easy to read and understand, accurate and up to date, and correctly formatted using a style guide. Coordinate learning experience design, instructional material development, and course delivery with Learning Experience Design team members on a project-by-project basis. Influence decisions being made to incorporate more innovative ways of learning experience design for the business Partner with operations and program leaders to align our learning programs with the expected business outcomes. Optimize the use of learning technologies that help us scale. Utilize training evaluation best practices throughout our learning solutions to generate data-driven, feedback Skills And Attributes Knowledge of instructional systems design methodology, rapid design/development methodologies, adult learning theory, research methodology, and assessment tools. Proven ability to work in fast paced environment without supervision Capable of working on multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills. Effective problem solving and strong interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of Project Management and experience leading and coordinating project activities. Education And Experience Bachelor's Degree in Education or Instructional Design; or at least 2 years of experience being a learning experience designer Proficient in using Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Premier), Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, Workday Learning Experience with technical and software topics is an asset.
