- Ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations, maintaining all required licenses and corporate filings to support ongoing business operations.
- Oversee and maintain all corporate statutory requirements and documentation
- Ensure the company holds valid and up-to-date licenses to operate within the market
- Coordinate with Regional and Global Offices to align on corporate policies and ensure adherence to Codes of Business Conduct (COBC)
- Lead the governance, administration, and execution of all contractual matters to safeguard the company’s legal and commercial interests.
- Manage and administer all third-party contracts, ensuring compliance and proper documentation
- Oversee contract lifecycle processes, including approvals from Regional or Global Offices
- Ensure all agreements and licenses are accurately recorded and updated in internal systems
- Appoint and manage external legal counsel where required
- Ensure robust documentation practices and system integrity across all legal and corporate records.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized filing systems for all corporate and legal documents
- Ensure timely updates and compliance across internal platforms and reporting systems
- Act as a key liaison across local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
- Coordinate closely with Regional and Global Offices on approvals, policy updates, and compliance matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal partners and advisors
- Strong understanding of local corporate and business laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure full compliance and mitigate risk
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end contract processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional/global teams and legal partners
- High level of accuracy and rigor in managing documentation, systems, and compliance processes
- Familiarity with the local business environment and regulatory landscape, supported by a strong network within the legal community
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (required)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate legal, preferably within a multinational environment or reputable law firm specializing in corporate/business law
