Overview Data center and the power supply system are the foundation of the network, the reliability and stability of them directly affect the quality of the network. The DC and power specialists should formulate standardized maintenance procedures for DC maintenance, inspect and control the maintenance quality, monitor the alarms, establish professional training programs and carry out training, establish the infrastructure renovation plan, and do the power system troubleshooting and establish the emergency drills to prevent failures and reduce the impact of faults. Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for establishing the data center management rules and specifications, formulating on-site maintenance job plans, organizing maintenance procedure training to the outsource team, drafting the maintenance quality standard, and inspecting and evaluating the maintenance quality. Responsible for maintenance of the power network monitoring system, alarm monitoring, guide the maintenance team to do the troubleshooting, write fault handling reports and other maintenance related documentation, and establish the fault handling case database and organize the regular exchange training. Responsible for analyzing the operating status and parameter configuration of the power infrastructure, establishing the energy consumption data, carrying out energy conservation works Establish the infrastructure renovation and replacement plans according to the lifespan of the power infrastructure and assist in making the budget for the replacement and other maintenance projects. Establish the data center emergency response plans and carry out the drills and establish contact information for the power infrastructure manufacturers and vendors. Collaborate with other departments to manage and update the infrastructure resources and assets of the data center, update the operating certificate and permits Cooperate with the IT department to do the maintenance automation, intelligence and remote deployment. Other tasks / functions that may be assigned or required as the network development. Employment Standards Must have a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Minimum of three (3) years' work experience in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Data center maintenance industry. Job Skills & Qualifications Knowledgeable in M&E and data center infrastructure and system, such as UPS, AC/DC power systems, transformers, generators, HVAC, PDU, batteries, Network Structure, fire protection system, environment monitoring system, Security etc. Good oral and written communication in English, can coordinate and communicate well with manufacture, maintenance team and other department, can compile maintenance requirements, various form and records, fault-handling reports, and other materials Positive attitude, strong learning ability, excellent problem solving, and analytical skills used to resolve issues and challenges. Possess relevant facilities management and/or data center related certifications, such as CDCP, CDCS, ITIL. Prepared to be on 24x7 standby recall to provide extra manpower coverage when necessary.
