JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant & Executive Assistant. This hybrid role will combine accounting duties with executive support to ensure the efficient operation of both financial functions and executive office tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, alongside excellent administrative and organizational skills to support the executive team.Preferred Candidates will have:
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written American Engllish
  • A drive for perfection
Accounting Duties:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and financial statements.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in preparing financial reports for management.
  • Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Executive Assistant Duties:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team, including calendar management and scheduling meetings.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ensure a smooth day-to-day office operation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in accounting or finance, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting executive-level professionals with administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
