This will be a mixture of on-site and offsite to provide 24/7 coverage. Represent the Global DBA team in any major incident call and take ownership of problem and problem tasks resolution in a timely manner. To provide operational support for DB issues initiated from Incidents or Changes. To performance monitoring/Testing and capacity planning. Creation / maintenance of full system documentation, including DR documentation. To provide support on wider IT initiative including business continuity and security. Requirements: 5 years up of experience supporting high availability database environment. Extensive Oracle and SQL server database administration experience. Experience in Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c/22c and SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022. Experience in Oracle and SQL High Availability features. Experience in Oracle RAC, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Weblogic Server, Fusion Middleware, Oracle E Business Suite, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Postgres, Cassandra would be added advantage. Experience in Unix and Windows scripting language to automate tasks. Experience of performance and tuning optimising Oracle and SQL DB's, hosting databases on SAN. Virtual, Cloud based technology. Experience of monitoring and alerting tools for DB's. Solid working knowledge in RedHat Linux and Windows Servers Regular/direct/permanent employment with the client Hybrid Work Set Up Permanent Night Shift
