Job Summary Are you looking for new opportunities We are looking to hire a Database Administrator ( DBA ) for managing and maintaining Oracle database systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing database structures, ensuring data integrity, and performing regular backups. Mandatory Skill-set Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering; Minimum 5 years database administration experiences on various databases platform like MS SQL Server, Oracle; Good experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting; Strong knowledge of designing, creating, hardening, patching, upgrade and capacity planning on databases and objects; Proficient in using database management tools (Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio); Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell) for automation is required along with SQL; Open to participate in on-call rotations for timely issue resolution; Excellent command over verbal/ written English and presentation to engage various stakeholders; Organized and positive working attitude, with the ability to work independently and as a team. Desired Skill-set Microsoft SQL server / Oracle server certifications; Experience with cloud based database solutions ( AWS / Azure); Experience with Insurance Industry / business/ operations. Responsibilities Responsible for design, deployment and maintenance of Oracle databases; Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security while building & maintaining databases; Prepare and test on recovery plan and responsible for Risk/incident management; Must ensure databases maximum availability via HA and DR implementation; Liaise with application developers on SQL tuning; Adhere to operation & security processes and procedures along with quality and timelines of deliverables; Must be able to provide on-call databases support as needed.
