PRIMARY FUNCTIONWe are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant to act as support for our clients including handling of individual tax returns, small business returns and BAS lodgements.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Accurate and timely preparation of client tax work papers and returns
Assisting with lodgement to the ATO within lodgement timeframes
Completion of IAS and BAS returns before the ATO due date
Reconciling and reviewing accounts in a timely manner
Assistance in managing client billing of chargeable hours
Ad-hoc assistance to the accounting team as required

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Perfect and excellent written and spoken English
Willing to work Australian hours (Perth)
Knowledge of the Australian Tax System and Legislation
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Advanced knowledge of Gmail / Google Doc, Sheets, Mail, Calendar
Experience with Xero (desirable, but if not we will teach you)
Experience with Australian businesses is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as an Accountant is essential
Bachelors Degree from a reputable College or University
At least three years’ work experience
Knowledge of the Australian Tax System and Legislation
