- Handle end-to-end PH accounting, including review of transactions, proper tax application, journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of reports, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Finance policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage compliance tasks related to taxation, business permits, LGU, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and DOLE—including legwork, admin tasks, and document submission as maybe required
- Coordinate with tax accountants, and ensure the accuracy of the taxes, timely filing and payment.
- Oversee PH payroll and Accounts Payable processes
- Review the work of the AP & Payroll Specialist, including AP transactions, payments, payroll, journal entries, etc.
- Serve as backup for the AP & Payroll Specialist (i.e. processing of AP and payroll as necessary).
- Fixed Assets management.
- Maintain effective and timely manual filing of finance and payroll documents in the office.
- Maintain the Service Invoice booklet for revenue.
- Provide assistance during external and BIR audits.
- Liaise and work closely with consultants, auditors, banks, and other third-party partners
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Head of Finance
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
- Experience with BIR audit is an advantage
- Familiarity with payroll processing is an advantage
- Experience with Xero and Sprout payroll systems is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
- Willing to work on AU shift and must be amenable to reporting onsite in Pasig (hybrid setup)
- CPA qualification is preferred but not required
