Position Summary The Recruitment Officer is responsible for executing the day-to-day recruitment process to ensure timely and accurate hiring of candidates across all levels of the organization. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring smooth onboarding. The Recruitment Officer plays a frontline role in representing the company to applicants and ensuring a professional and consistent candidate experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Job Posting and Role Preparation Draft and post accurate job descriptions on job boards, social media platforms, and internal systems. Coordinate with hiring managers to confirm role requirements, qualifications, and expected timelines. Ensure all job postings reflect the company's brand, tone, and compliance with labor laws. 2. Candidate Screening Review and screen resumes daily, ensuring shortlisted candidates meet minimum requirements. Conduct initial phone or virtual interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. Prepare candidate summaries for hiring managers and update tracking sheets or ATS accordingly. 3. Interview Coordination Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring availability and smooth flow. Communicate interview details clearly to both candidates and interviewers. Collect feedback from interviewers promptly and record it in the recruitment tracker/ATS. 4. Candidate Management Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience. Provide updates on application status, next steps, and feedback. Ensure candidates feel engaged and informed, even if not selected. 5. Offer and Pre-Employment Processing Prepare job offers and coordinate with candidates for acceptance. Support negotiations within approved parameters. Guide candidates through pre-employment requirements such as documentation, medical exams, and clearances. 6. Onboarding Support Coordinate with HR and operations to ensure first-day readiness (equipment, accounts, ID, uniform, etc.). Schedule and support orientation sessions. Ensure smooth handover of new hires to the HR/operations team. 7. Recruitment Reporting and Tracking Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and regularly update requisition status. Generate reports on time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, and hiring outcomes. Flag challenges and delays to the Recruitment Manager promptly.
