Job description: Must have at least 1 year experience in US/Canada Payroll The Payroll Specialist will be a member of the Payroll Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing all aspects of weekly multi-state payroll. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented. Job Responsibilities: Process manual and electronic timecards and worksheets to ensure accurate and timely processing Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates to status changes, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, time-off accruals, etc. Assist with month-end duties. Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Job Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of US/Canada Payroll Work Experience College level or college degree Excellent data entry skills, including 10-key experience Ability to effectively communicate information to employees and management Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments while consistently meeting deadlines Good problem solving and analytical skills MS Office experience, including skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Team player and ability to work with others within and outside of the team Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, maintain focus and meet deadlines Ability to work overtime when needed Must be willing to work in rotating shifts or US time zone.
