We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive and confident professional with strong communication skills and a background in sales support, sales enablement, or inside sales within technology-driven industries.You will play a critical role in supporting the full sales lifecycle—from needs assessment and solution presentation to post-sale follow-up and account management. Working closely with account executives and clients, you will ensure opportunities are maximized, relationships are strengthened, and business objectives are achieved.Benefits and Compensation

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport all stages of the sales lifecycle, including lead qualification, client presentations, quoting, order processing, and follow-up.Partner with account executives by preparing tailored sales materials, proposals, and product information.Engage directly with clients to assess requirements, answer technical/commercial questions, and recommend solutions.Manage post-sale activities, including follow-up, satisfaction checks, and account management.Maintain accurate CRM records for visibility across the sales organization.Drive inside sales activities such as prospecting, inbound lead management, and nurturing existing accounts.Collaborate with internal teams (operations, service, finance) to ensure seamless order execution.Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.Represent Avalon professionally when engaging with U.S.-based clients across aerospace, defense, telecom, semiconductors, and related sectors.Qualifications10+ years of experience in sales support, sales enablement, or inside sales.Strong background in test and measurement equipment, electronic components, semiconductors, telecommunications, aerospace/defense, or government contracting.Proven success working with U.S.-based clients and building strong business relationships.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging executives and technical decision-makers.Highly proactive, organized, and independent, while thriving in a collaborative environment.Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office Suite, and other sales enablement tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer needs into tailored solutions.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.Why Join the Company?Be part of a recognized industry leader with a trusted reputation in aerospace, defense, telecom, and high-tech sectors.Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise directly impacts success.Contribute to a customer-focused culture that values innovation, trust, and long-term partnerships.Grow your career within a company that invests in its people and celebrates achievements.Play a role in projects that support cutting-edge technologies and national defense initiatives.Powered by JazzHR
