Experience on handling social development and SWD sectoral concerns (i.e. women, children, IPs, PWDs, elderly, etc.) would be an advantage JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Division Chief, the Planning Officer III provides technical assistance and support in line with planning and monitoring of the Department's plans and programs aimed at improving performance delivery. The Planning Officer III is tasked to monitor and report the implementation of the Department's plans and agency performance commitments, reporting and data management along PDPB standards on data generation and utilization. In addition, he/she performs technical secretariat functions on SWD sectoral concerns and prepares special reports to oversight/other agencies and organizations. It is the responsibility of the Planning Officer III to ensure deliverables are submitted on time and follow the prescribed formats and requirements of all necessary reports. Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Develops and updates the Department's strategic plan, annual thrusts and priorities, sectoral plans, and annual work and financial plan 2. Monitors and prepares report on the implementation of the Department's plans, SWD sector plans and agency performance commitments 3. Monitor the implementation of the harmonized planning, monitoring, and evaluation system 4. Provide technical assistance on planning, monitoring, reporting, and data management along bureau standards on data generation, utilization, and reporting across divisions, offices, bureaus, and services (OBS) of the DSWD and its Field Offices. 5. Perform technical secretariat functions on Office Performance Contracting/Review (OPC/R), Annual Report Committee, Sectoral and Gender Mainstreaming through GAD Technical Working Groups 6. Prepares technical/special reports to oversight/other agencies and organizations 7. Serve as resource person during trainings and conferences related to planning and monitoring and, 8. Attend internal and external meetings, training, and conferences, as assigned by the Bureau Director or Division Chief. 9. Performs other related tasks as required or assigned. Job Outputs: 1. Operational sectoral monitoring and reports (e.g., Senior Citizens, Family, Children, Youth, Women, Persons with Disabilities sector, Gender and Development, Harmonized Planning Monitoring and Evaluation System, and Office Performance Contract) 4. Compliance Report submitted to various offices such as Presidential Management Staff (PMS), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and Office of the President (OP) 5.
