We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant (For Pooling) to join our Corporate Finance team. This role is crucial to supporting internal financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance within a growing investment management environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate accounting, ideally within investment management or financial services, and possess a solid grasp of GAAP and internal controls.Benefits and Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:Financial Operations:Prepare general ledger entries with supporting documentationProcess accounts payable, track payments, and reconcile statementsPrepare invoices, record receivables, and follow up on collectionsHandle employee expense reports and assist with travel itinerariesAccounting & Reporting:Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the management company and consolidated entitiesPrepare internal financial statements, management reports, and variance analysesTrack and reconcile intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminationsEnsure financial reporting aligns with US GAAP and internal policiesAudit & Compliance:Support preparation of audit and tax materials for external auditors and advisorsTrack registered agent fees, tax filings, and maintain appropriate documentationEnhance internal controls and accounting proceduresTreasury & Systems:Assist with bank reconciliations and tracking of cash activityContribute to system implementations and process improvement initiativesSupport budgeting and forecasting efforts at the corporate levelAd Hoc Support:Assist with special projects as neededWorking Hours:Must be available to work from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time (Los Angeles hours).Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferredMinimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate accounting, preferably within investment management, private equity, or financial servicesFamiliarity with accounting systems like NetSuite, Intacct, or similar ERP platformsUnderstanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidationsProficiency in Excel; experience with financial reporting tools a plusSkills & Requirements:Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracySelf-motivated and capable of both independent and team-based workPowered by JazzHR
