The Accounting Managing Lead will oversee all aspects of accounting operations for a fast-paced import and distribution company. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, full tax compliance, and efficient team management. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong experience in SAP, Philippine tax regulations, and economic process optimization.Team Leadership & Oversight

Lead and supervise a team of 10 accounting staff & 1 Supervisor (AP, AR, GL, compliance).
Mentor junior accountants and conduct performance evaluations.
Promote collaboration across departments (sales, logistics, procurement).

Financial Reporting & Closing of books

Oversee monthly/quarterly/year-end closing of books.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with PFRS and internal reporting timelines.

Tax Compliance & Audit Coordination

Ensure accurate BIR filings (VAT, EWT, ITR), etc. and manage tax audits (LOA).
Monitor changes in Philippine tax laws and implement accordingly.
Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls

Review and strengthen internal controls and documentation.
Identify and implement process improvements using SAP and Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
Automate routine finance functions where possible.

Cash Flow & Inventory Management

Monitor AR aging and assist in credit risk management.
Manage inventory costing, forex adjustments, and landed cost computations.
Ensure sufficient operational cash flow and manage banking relationships.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide strategic financial insights to management.
