This role upholds accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining robust internal controls and safeguarding the organization’s financial integrity.Your Responsibilities:1. Accounting OperationsDevelop, document, and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all companies and locations within the organization.Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports for senior leadership.2. Audit & Internal ControlsEstablish monthly audit processes with a focus on operational financials and organization cost management.Set objectives and frameworks for accounting operations and ensure their successful implementation.Maintain compliance controls, segregation of duties, and oversee procurement processes in line with company policies.Safeguard company assets and ensure proper financial controls are in place.3. Team Leadership & SupervisionLead, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, ensuring effective task delegation and workload management.Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues.Conduct performance reviews and recommend skill development or training programs for the team.4. Compliance & Regulatory ReportingEnsure adherence to accounting standards (e.g., PFRS/IFRS) and relevant government regulations.Oversee preparation and timely submission of tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.).Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and regulatory inspections.Submit required reports to government agencies (e.g., BIR, SEC, LGU) on time.5. Reconciliation & Accounts ManagementReview bank and subsidiary ledger reconciliations.Monitor accounts receivable and payable aging for accurate reporting.Ensure proper documentation, filing, and maintenance of accounting records.6. Systems & Process ImprovementOversee the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems.Recommend process improvements to streamline accounting workflows.Ensure data integrity and accuracy within accounting software.What we're looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Minimum of three (3) years in a managerial accounting role.Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.Strong leadership capabilities with a results-driven mindset.Knowledge of employee relationship management and performance evaluation techniques.High level of integrity and ethical standards.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.Ready to take the next step in your career?
