Why we need you: As a Quality Assurance & Data Protection Manager, you'll ensure our systems meet the highest standards in quality, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in maintaining our ISO certifications, ensuring compliance with Philippine data protection laws, and supporting HR and facilities-related compliance. Your work will directly impact the integrity of our training center operations and our company's global reputation. Here's What You'll Be Doing: Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) according to ISO 9001 standards. Act as the Internal Quality Auditor and ensure continued certification. Coordinate and host onsite client audits and government inspections (DOLE, TESDA, etc.). Oversee all TESDA documentation and qualification renewals. Manage supplier quality interactions and assist with procurement evaluations. Maintain documentation for and attend feedback meetings and safety committee meetings. Oversee the upkeep of ISO-related documentation. Serve as the officially designated DPO for the Manila office in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (DPA). Liase with the National Privacy Commission (NPC). Monitor and audit internal data processing activities, address data subject rights, and manage breach responses. Provide training to staff on privacy and data handling practices. Ensure coordination with IT and legal teams to enforce data security measures. Handle local HR administrative support including DOLE compliance, interview scheduling, and personnel recordkeeping. Coordinate with legal counsel on contracts, labor compliance, and government-related documentation. Support onboarding and employee compliance related to data privacy and safety. Ensure that pest control, fire safety equipment maintenance, and air-conditioning servicing are scheduled and carried out in compliance with internal Quality, Health & Safety (QHSE) standards. Coordinate and document fire and emergency drills, ensuring full alignment with local labor regulations and workplace safety protocols. Manage vendor relationships related to facility upkeep, ensuring timely and compliant service delivery across all maintenance functions. Maintain audit-ready records and logs required for internal quality checks and external HSE inspections. Performing other duties as assigned. You need these qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, HR, or a related field. Prior experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or facilities management. Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal). Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor. Completed training or certified as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) by a recognized body in the Philippines. Strong understanding of Philippine labor, health, safety, and privacy regulations. Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills. It Would Be Nice If: Familiarity or certification with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems). Background in the maritime industry, particularly in crewing, vessel operations, compliance, or maritime training institutions. Prior experience coordinating audits, legal reviews, and government site inspections. Familiarity with food service, training institutions, or regulated corporate environments.
