We are on the lookout for a Lead Application Developer for our Software Development Team! The Lead, App Dev plays a key role in driving the design, development, and deployment of complex applications that align with strategic enterprise objectives. This position combines hands-on development work with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior developers and ensuring high-quality, on-time project delivery. The Lead collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop innovative solutions, enhance existing systems, and oversee the full application development lifecycle-from concept to implementation. Responsibilities Lead and manage full-scale projects or development teams, ensuring the effective design, testing, and support of application programs and automated workflows. Architect, build, and thoroughly test new applications while upholding high-quality standards and industry best practices. Continuously research, assess, and recommend emerging technologies and development methodologies to enhance team performance and project success. Create and manage realistic project plans and testing schedules that align with department objectives and business priorities. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and integration of system enhancements and updates. Conduct detailed code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and enforce adherence to established coding standards and practices. Resolve assigned support tickets efficiently to minimize operational disruptions and maintain system stability. Perform additional duties as needed to support team objectives and evolving business requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating knowledge of data processing equipment, programming languages, programming techniques, operating systems, and test and data management. at least 5 years of experience with at least 1 year of lead application technical development experience handling system design and development in n-tier and client/server environments, coupled with two-plus years developing within the Microsoft. NET environment. Demonstrates experience in leading small to medium projects Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile methodology Advanced relational database design Demonstrates familiarity and some working knowledge of each of the following: NET Core 5+, Entity Framework Cloud Technologies in Azure or AWS React JS and/or Angular JS C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET 3.5/4 Framework MS SQL Server 20012/2015 and/or MySQL technology and T/SQL Windows Communication Framework (WCF) and REST APIs MS Visual Studio 2017/2019 and Azure Git/GitHub Solid experience with Object Oriented Principles Developed applications using design patterns such as MVVM or MVC or Repository pattern The following skills are desired: Automated unit testing tools such as Microsoft Test, XUnit, Nunit or others Knowledge of CI/CD processes Knowledge of Microservice development methodology Visual Basic 6, ASP, JavaScript, and XML/XSLT SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services Ruby on Rails Note Candidate must attach an updated resume.
