Job Title: Job Title: Bid Coordinator Location: ASEAN Department: Capacity Building and Technical Assistance (CBTA) Position reports to: Head of Capacity Building and Technical Assistance The CBTA team is responsible for delivery training and technical assistance to clients on a commercial basis. Work is primarily anchored around market development and building a pipeline of issuers for sustainable debt. One of the key elements of this team is we support the financial sustainability of the organisation by mobilising resources to achieve its mission. Purpose: The role of the Bid Coordinator is to co-lead in the search and identification of appropriate tenders, projects on developmental agency and multilateral bank procurement portals. In addition, the individual must also lead in the bid preparation process in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for technical assistance (RTAs) from potential clients. This role will focus on developing proposals and budgets for service contracts targeting a range of clients. Duties and responsibilities: Conduct ongoing research to identify new RFPs, RFIs (requests for information), and other opportunities that align with the company&aposs capabilities and strategic goals Continuously evaluate and improve the bid and opportunity tracking processes, tools, and methodologies Maintain a comprehensive database and calendar of RFPs and other opportunities, including key dates, requirements, and submission guidelines Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners, including other companies, organizations, and individuals, to create consortia and partnerships to pursue large bids and opportunities Participate in pre-bid meetings and other opportunities to build relationships with potential clients and partners and gain insights into their needs and requirements Maintain a library of proposal content, including boilerplate language, graphics, and other materials that can be used across multiple bids and opportunities Participate in the development of marketing materials and other content to support CBTA&aposs business development efforts Manage the end-to-end bid process, including gathering requirements, coordinating internal resources, developing proposals, and submitting bids on time Ensure that information is updated in the Projects and Proposals Pipeline Develop strong relationships with potential clients and partners to ensure successful bids Conduct research and analysis to identify and understand the client&aposs needs, requirements, and expectations Collaborate with team members to develop technical solutions, pricing strategies, and project plans that meet the client&aposs needs Write and edit proposal content to ensure it aligns with the client&aposs requirements and is clear, concise, and compelling Ensure that proposals are compliant with RFP/RTA requirements and internal policies Manage the bid review process to ensure that proposals are of high quality, competitive, and meet the client&aposs needs Ensure that all required documentation is prepared, organized, and submitted according to the RFP/RTA requirements Participate in presentations, negotiations, and meetings with clients to support the bid process Evaluate the effectiveness of the bid process and provide feedback for continuous improvement When needed, Interact with funding agencies and/or partners on grants (and with clients/sponsors on contracts) to help ensure a proposals and relevant supporting documents are in line with their requirements and guidelines Follow-up with funders and/or partners to communicate any delays, changes, and/or requests Requirements Essential: Up to 3 years of experience in proposal development and bid management, preferably in the non-profit sector or with consulting industries Fluent English Bachelor&aposs degree in business, marketing, climate, sustainability or a related field Demonstrated success in writing and winning proposals, RFPs, and RFIs, preferably in the non-profit sector or consulting industries Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and bids simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate and timely submission of grant proposals, managing multiple projects and maintaining detailed records Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex RFP requirements and develop winning strategies and solutions Familiarity with proposal development best practices and the ability to continuously improve the proposal development and review processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience developing and managing relationships with partners, including other companies, organizations, and individuals, to create consortia and partnerships to pursue large bids and opportunities Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to Climate Bond Initiative&aposs mission Desirable: Experience working with government or public sector clients, including familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations Experience working with international clients or in a global business environment Knowledge of industry-specific terminology, trends, and challenges related to sustainable finance and or climate change solutions Benefits Opportunity to work with a global team on stimulating projects that have a positive impact globally Work with Thought Leaders and grow your career Opportunity to be creative and innovative NGO Competitive salary Remote and flexible working A family-friendly and inclusive environment 25+ days holiday Show more Show less
