- Lead and provide input to solution design of digital solutions, considering scalability, security & performance.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality is maintained and meets coding standards.
- Report on the Development Quality Measures of our vendors on a regular basis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the business requirements and suggest technical solutions.
- Provide solutions to complex issues and critical problems.

- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the digital and enterprise space
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
- Identify and communicate technical risks and dependencies.
- Ensure our platforms are of high security standards and our environments are regularly patched.
- Provide leadership in improving software development at Greencross, considering Devops and CI/CD tools.
- Mentor and provide some training to your peers to help develop their technical knowledge.

- Tertiary degree in IT/Computer Science preferred.
- Experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce Cloud, large scale PHP eComm web development experience is a must.
- Knowledge and/or integration experience with Marketplace Management, Order Management (Comestri experience preferred), eCommerce fulfillment systems (e.g. Shippit) and Product Information Management systems is required.
- API integration and GraphQL skills is required.
- Experience with PWA, NextJS, React, App development, Wordpress, Boomi or similar Integration tools is desirable.
- Experience with last mile delivery services highly desired.

- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to proactively identify and tackle issues before they become roadblocks
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce and retail business
- Is comfortable executing against tasks that are occasionally ambiguous, but works independently to seek out needed information
- Strong knowledge of multi-channel retail businesses and supply chain is desired approach to problem solving.
- A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies
- Experience with the following tools is desirable: JIRA, confluence, Microsoft 365
