About the Help Desk Specialist PositionWork Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Shifting | 24/7 OperationsWe're looking for a customer service-oriented IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You're going to be on the company's front lines, and you will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas.It'll be your job to make sure that customer issues get resolved, that we maintain the high standards set forth by the company, and the customer is satisfied.IT Help Desk Specialist ResponsibilitiesProvide first level contact and communicate resolutions to customer issuesProperly escalate unresolved questions to the next level of supportTrack, route and redirect problems to correct resourcesUpdate customer data and generate activity reportsWalk customers through problem-solving processFollow up with clients, provide feedback and see problems through to resolutionUse excellent customer service skills to exceed customers' expectationsEnsure proper recording, documentation, and closure of issuesRecommended procedure modifications or improvements as neededPreserve and grow your knowledge of help desk systems, products, and servicesIT Help Desk Specialist RequirementsProven working experience in providing help desk supportProficiency in EnglishWorking knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote controlStrong client-facing and communication skillsAdvanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsCustomer service orientation * BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
