Non-Negotiable Skills Strong understanding of loan structures and lender servicing Assessing the borrower's funding position for a property purchase Analysing and researching bank policies and credit policies for lender options that align with borrower needs and objectives Ability to complete lender servicing calculators Packaging and submission of customer applications to lenders, including interpreting lender credit requirements and ensuring appropriate supporting documents are provided Fulfilment of lender MIR (Mortgage Insurance Requirements) and conditional approvals Key Responsibilities Process mortgage loan applications from data entry and submission to final settlement Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and meet all compliance standards Complete applications relating to grant applications, discharge forms, and First Home Owner Grant Review loan documents and application materials for accuracy and completeness, including verifying income, assets, and credit consumer reports Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, and lenders to gather required documentation and resolve outstanding lender requirements Complete complex income calculations for both PAYG and self-employed income Complete servicing calculators and utilize lender portals Complete pricing requests across multiple lenders for new and existing borrowings Utilize ApplyOnline, Simplology, and LoanApp for efficient loan processing Perform valuations and assess property information to calculate loan-to-value ratios and property eligibility Understand complex loan structures and types (e.g., multiple applicants, SMSF, trust structures) Manage fulfilment of lender MIRs and conditional approval requirements Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan application process Undertake other tasks as deemed necessary by management to achieve business goals Assist with ad hoc office tasks Qualifications Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (preferred but not essential) At least 3 years of experience with Australian mortgage brokerage or loan processing Previous experience in end-to-end mortgage loan processing, with a strong understanding of origination, underwriting, and settlements Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy and compliance in a high-volume environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Show more Show less
