- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and assist in monthly and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare reports, assist with tax filings, compliance documentation, and audit support.
- Partner with the Finance Director to streamline accounting workflows and optimize financial operations.
- Manage QuickBooks for daily entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Provide support on ad-hoc financial projects and administrative tasks related to finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Proven experience using QuickBooks in a professional setting (must-have).
- Preferred: Background in e-commerce or retail accounting (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with global teams across time zones.
