In the Philippines, the company works through a local partner, collaborating closely with shared services teams in finance, HR, and procurement. The role is based in Makati, Manila and supports both local project operations and regional reporting. Job Summary: As the Senior Accountant, you will act as the bridge between the project and regional teams, as well as local support functions. You will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, manage payments and invoicing, support project budgeting, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a project-based environment with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities: Manage accounting and administrative support for the company's operations in the Philippines. Act as liaison between project teams and shared services departments (Finance, Accounting, HR, Procurement). Serve as the local contact for suppliers and clients on finance, accounting, and administrative matters. Monitor daily transactions including purchase orders, supplier invoices, payments, client invoicing, and petty cash. Maintain organized, complete records of all financial transactions and supporting documents. Ensure timely supplier payments, invoicing, cash collection, petty cash management, and issuance of bonds/guarantees. Assist Project Managers in budget preparation and updates. Prepare monthly activity reports, including PO status, income statements by project, outstanding invoices, and cash balances. Coordinate collection of staff timesheets for payroll processing with the HR team. Requirements: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting. Experience in construction or project-based companies is a plus. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory legislation, and regulations. Proficiency with finance software (Quickbooks). Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
