- Supervise and support the order entry team to ensure accurate and timely processing of lab work orders.
- Assign tasks, monitor workload distribution, and ensure team productivity meets operational goals.
- Train new and existing team members on order entry procedures, system usage, and best practices.
- Review and verify order accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, troubleshooting errors, and resolving discrepancies in orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including coordination team, sales, and laboratory staff, to ensure smooth order processing.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
- Maintain records of order processing metrics and generate reports on team performance.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, including HIPAA, if handling patient information.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and performance improvement strategies.

- Proficiency in order management systems, electronic medical records (EMR), or laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Ability to train and mentor team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Knowledge of laboratory processes and medical terminology (preferred).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA (if applicable).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in order entry, data processing, or administrative support, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Familiar with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software. Such as electronic medical records (EMR), or laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Shift Availability: Must be able to work graveyard shift, US Mountain Standard Time.
- Communication Skills: English proficient and email communication skills to interact with internal teams and external clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and address issues as they arise.
