Building end-to-end solutions across a variety of channels (including internal tools, SDK apps and customer-facing portals), shaping the direction of our architecture, design patterns and stack.
Utilize industry best practices and leveraging the latest technologies where possible.
Engage with stakeholders in all stages of the software development life cycle.
Write clean, maintainable code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards.
Work on special projects as directed by the Software Engineering Manager.
Drive automation of business processes to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship and support for the team.
Assist in the migration and modernization of legacy systems to new platforms.

Key Criteria

At least 5 years + of experience as a Software Engineer or similar roles.
Strong experience with a proven track record using Javascript (Mandatory) and other stacks. (Ideally PHP, Laravel, Python)
Experience crafting and maintaining software with a test-driven approach that is maintainable and conforms to standards and software development best practices.
Experience using Kafka and Restful API for API Integration is a bonus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Ideally from a Telco background or similar but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, especially when identifying the requirements and delivering what was required.

Work setup:

Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am-3:00pm PHT) with a fully remote setup.
