As a Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing UK tax returns, managing client tax matters, and supporting both internal and external communications. The role is expected to have regular and independent communication with management, peers in finance and other functions/business. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and file personal income tax and personal tax returns accurately and on time. Handle tax registrations for individuals and businesses. Respond to tax inquiries and liaise with relevant tax authorities. Assist in the preparation and submission of inquiry tax returns and required documentation. Support clients with basic tax advisory and planning strategies. Ensure all tax filings are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date records of filings, payments, and correspondence. Keep current on changes in tax laws and regulations. Assist in tax audits and documentation as required. Other ad hoc services as and when client needs arise. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a bachelor&aposs degree in accountancy or any accounting related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position including at least 2 years of UK accounting experience Proficiency with accounting and tax software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and SAGE Familiarity with IRIS is a plus but not required Strong knowledge of tax return preparation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent English communication - both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills Must have a stable internet connection for a hybrid arrangement . The designated remote work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.
