Grow with GBSS , where your potential meets opportunity. ????What You'll Be Doing Assess residential mortgage applications (new loans, variations, further advances) in line with credit policies and regulatory requirements. Make timely, compliant, and commercially sound credit decisions while meeting service level standards. Engage with third-party originators (e.g. mortgage managers and introducers) to provide clear, high-quality support and build strong relationships. Respond to credit-related queries and contribute to a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty. Support continuous improvement by identifying policy gaps and recommending enhancements to credit processes and lending criteria. ???? About You Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian mortgage underwriting or residential credit assessment. Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking required; Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management preferred. Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices , third-party origination channels, and credit policies in the Australian market. Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks , including the Privacy Act and other state/federal lending laws. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills , with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. ????
