- Supports in the review of the Contractor's submissions including plans, design reports, drawings, Materials Approval Submittal (MAS), Method Statements (MS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Risk Assessments (RA), technical proposals, etc., ensuring that they comply with the contract conditions, applicable laws and regulations, the specifications, the engineer’s representative’s (ER’s) instructions and best practices
- Inspect and monitor the quality and safety of construction works on site, including preparation for and construction of rock revetments
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations, such as ACI, ASTM, and OSHA
- Review and verify the accuracy of works according to drawings, plans, and reports
- Coordinate and communicate with the contractors, engineers, and clients, to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Identify and report any defects, damages, or deviations from the project requirements
- Recommend and implement corrective actions and preventive measures, such as repair, replacement, or reinforcement
- Document and maintain records of inspection activities and results, using forms, checklists, photos, and software
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports, highlighting the progress, problems, and solutions of the concrete construction works
- Perform tests and measurements on relevant materials used for the construction
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and trainees, on the methods and procedures of concrete inspection
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any other related course
- 7-12 years' industry experience
- Experience in rock revetment
- Preferably experience working within an engineering consultancy
- Quality and safety consciousness
- Strong in record keeping
- Analytical thinker and strong problem solver
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, versatile, and energetic
