The Inventory Associate is responsible for overseeing inventory levels at third-party logistics (3PL) providers and ensuring that the inventory is tracked accurately based on the company's requirements and transactions. This role involves close coordination with 3PL teams to resolve issues, monitor performance, and ensure stock levels are accurate. Job Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across 3PL facilities. Work with the 3PL provider to ensure that stock is properly received, stored, and tracked in the warehouse. Regularly reconcile physical inventory with digital records, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Communication and Coordination with 3PL: Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies with the 3PL provider. Track performance and service level agreements (SLAs) with 3PL, ensuring that operations meet expected standards. Data Entry and Reporting: Ensure that inventory data from the 3PL warehouse is accurately reflected in the company's inventory management system. Analyze and prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement. Identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in inventory processes, reporting insights to management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as non-moving or slow moving stocks, overstocks, and inventory turnover rates. Supply Chain Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and the seamless flow of goods to and from the 3PL warehouse. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to address customer demand fluctuations, ensuring that inventory is available for order fulfillment. Work with logistics to optimize inbound and outbound shipments, minimizing lead times and maximizing efficiency. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of inventory in the 3PL warehouse to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and legal regulations. Ensure that proper documentation is in place for all inbound and outbound inventory transactions. Maintain records for inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts and full physical counts as required. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies with the 3PL, including order shortages, overages, and damaged goods. Investigate any stock or shipment discrepancies, identify the root cause, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with the 3PL provider to initiate returns or exchanges for damaged or faulty products. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory management processes at the 3PL warehouse and suggest improvements. Work with 3PL partners to streamline processes and enhance inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and order fulfillment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years in inventory management, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field, preferably in a 3PL environment. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Strong accuracy in tracking, reconciling, and reporting inventory levels. Ability to manage multiple inventory tasks, track shipments, and maintain records efficiently. Required skills: Organization, Analytical, Communication and Attention to detail. Willing to work on-site in Carmona, Cavite.
