- Set sales targets, manage team performance, and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Drive the Sales Team to generate New-to-Business (NTB) and increase deposit volume.
- Track sales performance, address key gaps with Region/Division Heads, and develop salespeople.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate targets, recognize achievements, and address challenges.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Units like CMS, SEDEX, and CBG to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Monitor industry trends, identify opportunities, and adjust sales strategies to stay competitive.
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
- At least five (5) years experience in the Banking industry, preferably in the area of Retail Banking, and with proven experience as an Area Manager or in similar sales leadership role
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and successfully managing sales teams.
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques and best practices, and the ability to adapt them to different markets and customer segments
- Excellent communicator and collaborates well with managers/ supervisors to effect change
