The Sales Team Lead is responsible for sales conversion of the company’s products in meeting individual as well as overall company’s sales turnover. Specifically, in achieveing annual sales budget and ensure long-term company profitability in his/her assigned territory which is Mindanao and Cebu Area – both Department Stores and Franchise Stores.
Apart from sales, this role shall make sure that all ends meet in terms of trade partnership, store inventory, supervision of brand advisors, debt collection and provision of feedback on any market/competitor’s updates and changes in order to work on company’s strategies if need be.
This position reports to the District Sales Manager and Commercial Director and will work closely with the Marketing Team, Assortment Team, and external counterparts to ensure smooth business operations and help the business grow.General Duties & Responsibilities
A. Sales and Management
1. Sales - Sets monthly counter targets subject to superior’s approval and provides inputs of projected sales turnover on any promotions/fairs to achieve individual sales targets and thereby overall company’s sales objectives.
2. Promotions Scheduling - Negotiates and schedules promotions with buyers of the various stores according to the Business Plan (wholesaler). Ensures appropriate follow-up (eg. submitting proposals, stocking-up, liaising with internal departments, premiums sourcing and confirmation, signages, video, price/paper tags, etc.).
3. Inventory Management - Manages and maintains a reasonable average month of stocks per counter, to correct any overstock or understock situation. Minimizes goods returns according to acceptable percentage over sales and purchases (wholesaler). Ensures effective management of proper product mix at the respective counter. Ensures that the Company’s products are not subject to potential possibilities of pilferage. Annual physical count.
4. Counter Management - Ensures that counters under her charge meet the standards set on:
- Visual Merchandising/Display - counter trans., proper display of signages, mannequins, etc.
- General Maintenance - feedback to store’s maintenance department / S&P department on any faulty bulbs, plugs, etc.
5. Brand Advisors Screening and Hiring - Ensure proper manpower rostering and head count per store is being monitored and applied monthly. Collaborate closely with the Superior in Hiring Manpower both for consignment and TCS accounts. Interview and endorse qualified Brand Advisors to 3rd party agency after approval of HR.Supervision of Brand Advisors - Basic training and onboarding of Brand Advisors. Coaches, guides and motivates the Brand Advisor at the counters. Disseminate any promotions, mechanics, price changes, etc. to the Brand Advisor. Jointly appraise with HR on the yearly performance of the Brand Advisor. Provides feedback to HR on any specific training needs of the Brand Advisor. Checking of DTR of outsourced Brand Advisor for superior’s final approval.B. Trade, Market and Partners
1. Competitors’ Activities / Market Intelligence - Feedback to Management on competitors’ promotional campaigns, turnover, and/or any personnel changes monthly. Provides feedback on any developments at department stores pertaining to personnel changes, store re-location or re-structuring and any other relevant matters
2. Debt Collections - Responsible for reminding dealers on payment under Traditional Acccounts. Collects payments personally, especially the smaller dealers based on the terms and conditions of the payment scheme.
3. Trade Relationship Building - Plays a key role in representing the Company to the trade by building rapport and maintaining goodwill. Conduct business review with superior on semi-annual basisC. Administrative Role and Submission of Various Reports
1. Administration - Obtains daily sales update for consignment counters. Collects sales report from stores and submits to Sales Admin. Department promptly.
2. Traditional Credit Sales (TCS) Accounts - Responsible in preparing PO monthly and ensure that TCS stores will be provided with enough novelty allocations. Does countering and collection of payments from the PO and ensure that collection must be dealt according to the terms and conditions of payments. Conduct regular Business Meeting with the Trade partners and the Sales Head. Conduct regular monitoring of sell –in and sell-out performance of the stores.

- Sales Orders submission in order of priority
- New styles tracking report
- Counter progress report
- Consignment sales projection report
- Triumph/Competitors’ Sales and Promotions tracking report
- Novelties Evaluation report
- Goods Returns report
- Sales comparisons for promotions eg. Anniversary sale, GSS, High profile season, etc.
- Sales calls report
- Timely submission of expenses report
- Market analysis report
4. Others - Performs any other duties or be engaged in ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.Your Responsibilities:Your ideal profile:
  • With at least three (3) years related work experience in the field of Sales or in a key major role in the organization
  • Experience in retail industry would be an advantage
  • Sales/performance oriented
  • Experience in handling a team or staff members. This position will oversee 27 sales advisors in 21 stores across the Mindanao region.
  • Efficient in dealing and meeting with Trade partners
  • Excellent communication skill in Visayan, English and Tagalog.
  • Must be based in Davao city.
