The IT Business Analyst leads the analysis and documentation of Aurecon IT projects, so that our portfolios deliver the highest quality initiatives to Aurecon. Has 3 to 5 years of project experience as a business analyst on technology focused projects and has worked autonomously to produce high-quality deliverables that meet the needs of project stakeholders. The IT Business Analyst is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders to capture requirements, project managers to coordinate tasks and team members, and technical teams to ensure that requirements are delivered. The IT Business Analyst will also be required to act as a Scrum Master to support delivery. The successful candidate will bring their confidence and work ethic to ensure the successful implementation of IT initiatives at Aurecon. What will you do We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon&aposs business globally. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'. Capture and document requirements, scope, and business processes for IT projects. Conduct workshops and interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders from across the business. Work with project and portfolio managers to ensure appropriate project resourcing, task assignments and project reporting. Deliver key artefacts as required by the project, including user stories, business requirements documentation, traceability matrices, as-is and to-be process documentation, and wireframes. Act as Scrum Master as and when required. Assist portfolio and project managers in identifying, reporting, and resolving risks and issues throughout project lifecycles. Collaborate with solution architects, security analysts and change analysts to produce material to support the successful delivery of IT projects. Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills. You will also need the following capabilities: Qualifications (Required) 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst in PRINCE2/Agile/Scrum projects Eliciting requirements, creating documentation, managing requirements from definition through to the testing process, etc. Competency using Microsoft Visio to create and maintain process documentation. Knowledge and experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA Experience working across multiple regions and with program managers, project managers, business stakeholders, application or product owners, and external vendors. Experience conducting workshops and interviews Nice to have Knowledge on ServiceNow Administration Tasks including but not limited to: checking interface jobs status, validating record synchronization, making quick configuration changes, applying permission and grouping, and creating reports and dashboard Experience in working with development teams to implement, test, and deploy changes in the ServiceNow environment. Experience in ServiceNow configuration and administration to optimize ITSM processes and workflows. Experience in reviewing ServiceNow upgrades for their impact on the ITSM application, learning new version functionality/enhancements, determining relevancy to the business, and working with the development team to implement necessary changes At Aurecon, we know every career adventure is unique.
