Position Summary Company Nurse will be responsible for providing basic healthcare services to our company's employees. Not limited to developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, and preventing and treating resultant illness or injury. Responsibilities: Clinic Management Develop and implement health and safety programs. Provide emergency treatment in the workplace. Administer over-the-counter medication to employees. Monitor and requisition the medicines Evaluation and medical Certificate verification Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area/ Clinic. Promote healthy eating and wellness programs. Document all employee injuries and illnesses and keep this information confidential. Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks. Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input. Communicate with management on a regular basis. Coordination and handling of Health Insurance and other medical task. In charge of Covid 19 prevention implementation within the company (related to health) Assess and determine the employee's health status, including recommendations like being sent home or back to work. Ensures updated and accurate medical files/medical-related documents of employees. Provides emergency and palliative care and treatment to employees and customers within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first-aid. Promptly attends to employees' medical and health needs according to accepted medical standards. Conducts seminars (free of charge) that are beneficial to the employees. Conducts health teaching to pregnant women, pre-natal & post-natal care. Ensure that the vitamins are distributed as scheduled. Checks medicines and other medical supplies for their expiration period. Ensures adequate first aid services to employees. Promotes effective Family Planning and Mental Wellness Programs. Assists company physician during Consultation, Pre-employment Medical Consultation, and Annual Physical Exam & in promoting health awareness among workers. Ensures efficient implementation of Annual Physical Exams and other health-related programs. Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the Clinic. Updates Health-related concerns to Health & Safety Committee. Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed Assist all injured employees to the nearest hospital. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and First Aid Training are an advantage Critical -Thinking skills for the in-patients or on-duty patients A warm and caring disposition Hands-on experience in antigen testing (not required but highly preferable) Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
