Senior Android Developer (Java) Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer (Java) with a strong background in Android development and demonstrated project leadership experience (3 to 5 years). This role requires deep technical expertise, the ability to read and execute from detailed specifications, and a solid understanding of Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, and Geofencing. Key Responsibilities: Design, development, and deployment of Android applications using Java/Kotlin. Work on system features involving Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, Geofencing, and sensor integrations. Understand the Clean Architecture Pattern and MVVM Understand and implement based on detailed technical documentation/specifications. Take ownership of complex modules and provide architectural and development guidance to team members. Ensure the scalability, performance, and maintainability of the mobile application. Collaborate closely with Product Owner, and QA teams in a Scrum environment. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the codebase. Required Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience in Android development. Advanced proficiency in Java for Android. Strong knowledge or at least familiar with: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) NFC Geofencing APIs Restful APIs Proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications to production. Ability to read and interpret detailed specifications and convert them into working solutions. Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, RESTful APIs, and common development tools (Git, Android Studio, Gradle). Nice to have: Swift and Kotlin Programming. Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile training. Experience mentoring developers or managing small Android teams.
