This is a remote position. Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to support our financial operations, reporting, and compliance processes. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in financial reporting and analysis, supporting US tax compliance, and ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable functions. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations. Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified. Preferably QuickBooks Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Generate various financial reports to support decision-making and provide insights into financial performance. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. A/P and A/R Support: Support in Invoicing & Billing Maintain accurate client & vendor records. US Taxation (Preferred but not required): Assist with the preparation and filing of various US tax forms (e.g., sales tax, 1099s). Support the compilation of necessary documentation for income tax preparation. Ensure compliance with relevant US tax regulations. Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support. Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Solid understanding of US taxation basics (e.g., 1099, sales tax) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience supporting audits and ensuring financial compliance High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Technical Requirements: A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM) Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed Benefits What can you expect as a MAG Employee 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day Competitive salary base Permanent WFH setup Unlimited FREE access to MAG School courses and SOP Library!
