What you'll do:As the NPD Specialist, you will formulate and perform product development for new and existing products. You will conduct laboratory and production trial for testing and validation. And translate laboratory trials into production scale.

Plan, schedule and implement research and development activities for the NPD Department
Contact and meet suppliers for ingredients and other raw materials related to the product being developed
Conduct bench and batch trials in developing prototypes and processes
Coordinate with production head in scheduling these batch trials and in preparing ingredients to be used
Keeps a project binder for each project being handled
Submit a periodic written report on the status of the ongoing projects
Prepare Standard Product and Process Sheet (SPPS) for all applicable projects
Assist in the initial production of new products
Help production in trouble shooting
Conduct research on new technologies and cost-effective ways of improving current formulae and processes
Gather data on primary target markets and their needs related to company products to be used in prototype development
Perform other related functions that may be assigned.

Graduate of Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related course.
Experience in food development and in conducting technical studies and product development is an advantage
Innovative, creative, with high technical competence
Strong analytical and planning skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
