The Accounting Manager is also responsible in establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, implement, overall accounting strategy
Oversees accounting daily operations
Takes responsibility for accounts payables/receivables, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue, and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets, reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
Monitors and analyses accounting data.
Setup and monitor accounting KPIs.
Regularly produce financial reports or statements.
Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Encourage other employees to adhere to standards.
Performs and oversee annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders.
Performs other related duties assigned by the superiors.
Ideal ProfileQUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Accounting or Finance
CPA
At least 3-5 years of experience
Excellent computer skills on MS Office
Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and database
Ability to multi-task
Good understanding and knowledge with accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
Critical-thinker and problem-solver skills
Will work 48 hours a week
