- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Analytics, Device Testing, and Automation software solutions, adhering to the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and provide scalable, flexible solutions. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures through IT solutions.
- Create documentation and conduct training for the 24/7 L1 support team.
- Test, deploy, and support new and enhanced Analytics, Device Testing, and Automation hosts, including interfaces to tools and multiple MES at both Wafer factories.
- Provide ongoing support for applications in a fast-paced, 24/7 factory environment, including potential on-call and overnight work as needed.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Willingness to work on-call and overnight shifts as needed in a 24/7 factory environment
- The successful candidate must have experience in using C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript as well as source control, object-oriented programming. Experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio development suite and debugging multi-tier architecture is preferred. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle DB including queries, functions, and stored procedures.
- Understanding of SECS/GEM protocol and/or other industrial automation standards is a plus.
- Strong understanding of structured/iterative code development and documentation, and the communications and collaboration with offshore code development team that goes with it.
- Exposure to or experience in leveraging ML and AI technologies to support the image analysis, edge computing, and augmented support solutions coming down the road.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages as needed.
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Written communication skills: The successful candidate must be able to write clear requirements documents, design documents, test plans and end-user documentation.
