- Own the overall Amazon P&L and growth strategy
- Develop long-term plans to scale marketplace revenue while maintaining profitability
- Identify new opportunities to expand market share within key product categories
- Partner with leadership on marketplace strategy and channel expansion
- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors, pricing dynamics, and category trends
- Identify threats from emerging competitors or private label sellers
- Monitor keyword rankings, category performance, and share of voice
- Develop strategies to defend and grow category leadership
- Oversee continuous improvement of Amazon product listings
- Lead optimization of: Titles, Bullet points, A+ content, Images and video, Storefront experience
- Monitor listing health and indexing performance
- Drive improvements in conversion rate and organic ranking
- Manage pricing strategy to maintain competitiveness while protecting margins
- Monitor Buy Box performance and pricing parity across channels
- Identify opportunities for promotional campaigns and seasonal pushes
- Partner with the performance marketing team to oversee Amazon advertising strategy
- Analyze performance across: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP campaigns
- Ensure advertising investment aligns with profitability targets
- Identify opportunities to grow both paid and organic traffic
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Prevent stockouts and lost ranking due to inventory issues
- Manage FBA planning including inbound shipments and replenishment strategies
- Monitor stranded inventory and fulfillment performance
- Monitor account health and ensure compliance with Amazon policies
- Address listing hijackers, unauthorized sellers, and MAP violations
- Work with Amazon support and brand registry to resolve enforcement issues
- Protect brand integrity within the marketplace
- Oversee all operational aspects of Amazon Seller Central
- Ensure timely resolution of support cases, listing issues, and catalog conflicts
- Develop SOPs and systems that improve operational efficiency
- Build and manage a team supporting Amazon growth, including: Marketplace managers, Catalog specialists, Operations monitors, Advertising coordinators
- Establish clear KPIs and performance tracking across the team
- Create scalable processes that support continued marketplace growth
- 8+ years managing Amazon marketplace businesses
- Proven experience managing Amazon brands exceeding $50M+ in revenue
- Deep expertise across: Amazon SEO, Catalog management, Advertising strategy, Competitive intelligence, Seller Central operations.
- Experience scaling high-growth consumer brands on Amazon
- Advanced marketplace analytics and data interpretation
- Strategic thinking combined with operational execution
- Deep knowledge of Amazon algorithms and ranking factors
- Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to manage complex marketplace ecosystems
