Required Qualifications Strong h ands on experience in Workday Security configuration and administration. Working knowledge of Workday HCM architecture and cross module security impacts. Experience with Workday tools such as: o Business Process Framework (BPF) o Security Groups (Role based, User based, Constrained) o Advanced Custom Reports o EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) o Workday Web Services and Integrations Solid understanding of software engineering principles and SDLC. Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and root cause analysis. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to business stakeholders. Preferred / Nice to Have Skills Experie nce with Workda y Int egrations, including Core Connectors and Studio. E xposure to S ervic eNow HRSD, SAP, or othe r enter prise platforms in tegrated w ith Workday. Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies. Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, SQL, or low code platforms). Experience Lev el 5+ y ears of experience as a Workday Application Engineer or equivalent role, with a strong focus on Workday Security. Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Security, including role based, user based, and business process driven security models. Design, configure, and maintain Workday security domains, business process security policies, roles, and user assignments. Administer and support security for Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integrations, and Data Conversion. Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including deployment, configuration, testing, and post production support of Workday solutions. Partner with HR, IT, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure data privacy, segregation of duties, and audit readiness. Troubleshoot and resolve security related incidents, access issues, and audit findings in a timely manner. Monitor and support interfaces, integrations, and data loads, ensuring security alignment across connected systems (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow). Participate in Agile/DevOps teams, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and change management practices. Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and access governance artifacts. Ensure compliance with IP, data protection, and enterprise security standards.
