- Qualification in event management, hospitality, marketing, business administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools is beneficial, but knowledge/experience in using the EventsAir and OnAIR platforms is not required.
- Experience working in a team environment and the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills, and a willingness to learn about various platforms and tools.
- Providing administrative support for external organizing committee meetings.
- Providing accurate reporting for all aspects of event coordination and maintaining accurate data within the database system.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, conducting post-event evaluations, and developing event marketing strategies.
- Utilizing various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising, to generate awareness and drive attendance.
- Overseeing assigned aspects of on-site event management, coordinating with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth event operations.
