- Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, principles, and standards.
- Ensure architecture alignment with business strategy and enterprise goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, simplification, and architectural improvement.
- Guide long-term technology direction and target-state architecture.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
- Develop high-level designs, solution blueprints, and architecture models for complex initiatives.
- Review and validate solution designs for compliance with architecture standards.
- Conduct impact assessments for technology and change initiatives across the enterprise.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
- Contribute to enterprise technology roadmaps in collaboration with IT leadership.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends to inform strategic architecture decisions.
- Drive modernization, simplification, and platform standardization.
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture governance frameworks and processes.
- Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes and continuous improvement.
- Maintain core architecture artefacts including:
- Technical Reference Model
- Business Capability Model
- Architecture Principles
- Design standards and templates
- Ensure compliance with architecture standards across projects and systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT leaders.
- Facilitate alignment between business needs and technology strategy.
- Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across global business and technology teams.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture documentation, models, and diagrams.
- Ensure architecture artefacts remain current, accessible, and fit for purpose.
- Clearly document architectural decisions, assumptions, and trade-offs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce complexity, eliminate redundancy, and optimize technology investments.
- Support enterprise transformation initiatives across large-scale, complex environments.
- Drive continuous improvement in architecture maturity and operational efficiency.
- Reduction in exceptions to architecture standards across projects and systems.
- Strength and effectiveness of enterprise architecture governance and strategy.
- Reduction in technology redundancy and architectural complexity.
- Quality of technology investment decisions and optimization outcomes.
- Contribution to innovation and strategic technology advancement.

- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- TOGAF or Zachman certification highly desirable
- Additional certifications advantageous:
- Cloud (AWS / Azure Architect)
- Security (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC)
- Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2)
- 15+ years in IT roles spanning strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery, or operations
- 7-8+ years in Enterprise Architecture within complex enterprise or consulting environments
- Experience across application, data, or infrastructure architecture domains
- Proven track record establishing enterprise architecture governance aligned with frameworks (e.g., COBIT)
- Strong experience in cyber security risk management (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
- Demonstrated success influencing senior/C-level stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams
- Experience defining enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps, and reference architectures
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments and operational technology architecture is an advantage
