Job Title: Accounting Associate Location: Philippines Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant (Singapore HQ) Job Summary: We are seeking a remote Accounting Associate based in the Philippines to support our global finance operations. As part of our group's finance team, the associate will be responsible for handling local Philippine accounting and payroll, while also assisting with accounting tasks for Singapore and other subsidiaries as required. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple time zones and reporting lines. Key Responsibilities: Record and process daily financial transactions (AP, AR, and bank entries) Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Maintain general ledger and financial records for Philippine entity and support other countries as needed Process monthly Philippine payroll and statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, BIR) Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities across entities Prepare basic financial reports and working files Support internal and external audits by providing documentation Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies Coordinate with the Singapore HQ finance team and other departments Organize and maintain accounting files in a secure and systematic manner Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience Experience with Philippine payroll and statutory reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and coordination skills, especially in a remote setup Able to handle confidential information with integrity Preferred: Familiarity with Singapore accounting practices is an advantage Experience supporting regional or multi-entity accounting Self-starter with the ability to manage time and workload independently WHAT'S ON OFFER You will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
