ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Primary liaison to the Operations Manager with focus of implementation and adoption of current, revised and new processes and policies throughout the different functional areas.
- Coordinates resources and efforts of the Operations Team, Military Clients, end users, and Management to provide necessary operational support.
- Facilitates the collection and consolidation of documents such as BOMs, BOEs, justifications for positions and job descriptions, Other Direct Costs (ODCs), certifications / training, Site Visits, Monthly reports to PMO, etc.
- Verifies the USG Site Visit Requests and Updates are tracked accurately.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the future operations and associated responsibilities of operations; assist with the supervision and oversight to the operation team
- Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Coaches, teaches, and mentors junior Employees to ensure a safe, capable, and ready workforce, as well as ensuring the timely completion of any Company-directed training.
- Improve Documentation Quality and Consistency by ensuring reports, briefs and documentation are clear, accurate and standardized to reduce ambiguity and errors in execution
- Ensure documentation and reports meet contractual and quality requirements and submitted within stated timelines
- Acts as a bridge between the different OSO departments and functional areas for the LCV requirements and policies.
- Utilizes various Project Management tools to monitor data points and control the efficiency of CDRL and reports.
- Ensures all necessary materials and equipment are ordered, inspected, and are available on-site to accomplish the job.
- Provides input to develop and implement Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives to enhance operations.
- Ensure Employees comply with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) requirements.
- Provides guidance, consultation, and mentoring to all assigned personnel, creates development opportunities and fosters a culture of continuous teaming throughout the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
- High School Diploma
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- US Citizen must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must possess a home country driver’s license and be able to obtain a Host Country Driver’s License.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5yrs years' operations management experience evaluating operations and business functions and recommending improvements, modification, and changes and familiar with the resources / tools such as VARMS, VeMS, HCAMS, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with Maximo® Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System desirable.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook).
- Organized and efficient with attention to detail and excellent follow through.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to effectively lead teams and influence others.
- An experienced leader and mentor with strong delegation skills.
- Adept at communicating with various stakeholders to manage expectations and maintain positive relationships.
- An understanding of GCSS-Army and an applicable material requisition process.
- OSHA Construction Safety Certification with competency in one of the 5 High Hazard areas.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all assigned operations personnel
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity
- Adjustable to changing weather and environmental conditions
- Physical Requirements:
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
