What You'll Make a Difference By: Database Management: Oversee the deployment, patching, and maintenance of Oracle databases across production, disaster recovery, and non-production environments. Ensure Performance and Stability: Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues (E.g. Alerts/Change Requests/Service Requests /Incidents), and implement solutions to ensure high availability of DBs according to SLAs. Uphold Database Security: Implement and maintain database security (create, maintain, and audit users and roles, assign privileges, enforce standards) and integrity. Collaboration on Application Tuning: Partner with application teams to optimize database performance for new and existing applications. Leading Disaster Recovery Efforts: Plan, test, and support disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity, such as backups on full exports, schema exports, and RMAN. Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance and share expertise with team members on DBA tasks and new technologies, fostering a collaborative learning environment. You'll win us over by: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science with minimum 5 years of working experience as Senior Oracle DBA. Technical Expertise: Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional/Oracle19c OCP certification is must. Strong Industry Experience: Possess deep knowledge of Oracle technologies including Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, and RMAN. Strong Linux and Virtualization Skills: Experienced with Red Hat Linux and virtualization technologies like VMWare. Familiarity with Oracle Embedded Licensing Model: Experience working with Oracle Embedded Licensing Model would be an advantage. Problem-Solving and Communication: Excel at solving complex technical problems and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
