Job Summary The Architect I oversees multiple projects and supports the design team by ensuring they have the necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and software. The role assists in producing and reviewing architectural drawings, models, and presentations, while coordinating closely with other departments to maintain effective communication. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, tracking progress, developing and managing project timelines, and ensuring design deliverables meet quality standards. The position also involves conducting site visits, preparing reports, managing project resources in coordination with the Procurement and QS departments, and handling documentation such as RFAs and RFIs. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee and may act as the main design in-charge of several projects. Collaborate and work closely with the design team to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their work, including coordination with other departments or stakeholders for materials, equipment, and software. Assist in the production and review of architectural drawings, models, renderings, and presentations. Facilitate communication among the design team and other departments or stakeholders by scheduling regular meetings, tracking progress, and addressing issues or concerns as they arise. Work with the design team to develop project timelines and ensure they are met, using project management tools to track progress and adjust timelines as needed. Ensure design deliverables meet required quality standards through document reviews and quality control processes. Conduct project site visits and provide reports and recommendations to senior staff. Manage project resources, including materials and fixtures. Coordinate with the Purchasing and Procurement Department in sourcing materials for approval and ensure budgets are met through coordination with the QS Department. Prepare and monitor project documentation such as RFAs and RFIs. Qualifications Education Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent. Experience 01 year of relevant work experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office software. Technical Competencies (Know-how) Registered Architect or equivalent (preferred but not required). Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Navisworks. Strong attention to detail. Behavioral Competencies (Traits) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure. Capable of handling and collaborating on multiple projects.
