- Generate and send daily invoices to customers.
- Reconcile bank receipts and ensure accurate application of payments and credits.
- Address and resolve customer account issues promptly.
- Issue monthly reconciled statements to customers.
- Proactively follow up with customers in arrears.
- Enter approved supplier invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconcile creditor accounts and provide a report to the Managing Director by the 15th of each month
- Resolve supplier account issues and ensure timely processing of credits.
- Prepare the payment run for review by the Finance Controller
- Set up new creditor accounts as required.
- Provide clear and accurate monthly cash flow reports.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving cash balance.
- Perform reconciliations and prepare monthly financial accounts for all entities.
- Prepare Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet statements.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to aid in decision-making.
- Liaise with external accountants as required.
- Prepare other financial reports as needed.
- Conduct monthly Management Accounts meetings by the 15th of each month, presenting the previous month's results.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP/CRM and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written English.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
