  • Act as a strong communication link between Country and Regional Engineering staff
  • Provide engineering services to the Region & other Countries under the Management of Regional Network Operations Engineering
Country Operations
  • Provide Industrial Engineering expertise, techniques and methodologies/structure to direct the country in improving service, processes, productivity and profitability
  • Develop short & long term plans in the areas of facilities, equipment, network for the country
  • Assisting in conducting Training programs for local country staff
  • Carry out any task that is required by his or her superiors from time to time.
Regional Engineering
  • Provide suggestions to Regional Engineering on self developed areas of improvement
External StakeholderVendors/Contractors
  • Manage engineering projects, vendors, contractors Cost exposure - EUR 5K - 2,000K per project
  • Provide regular vendor management reviews and align with the country GBS for Procurement Head
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure Operations get all the necessary urgent support and coordinate with OPS GET system requestors for a timely PRPO creation; logs on item DRs and SRs; and last mile GRN to close the transaction
ConsultantsInternal Stakeholder:Other functions
  • Work with the other functions eg CS, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing to resolve issues
  • Support and provide operations or local input to Logistics, Hub or Gateway
Regional Operations Team
  • Work closely in the implementation of regional and global initiative at a country level with the Regional Operations Team
  • Participate in regional workgroups and activities
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Software skills (Visio, AutoCAD)
  • 5 years experience in one of the above fields and/or material handling
  • Experience in areas of material handling equipment, productivity improvement, work measurement, work methods and standards, financial analysis
  • Experience in the express package, transportation or material handling
  • Degree in Industrial/Transportation/Production/ Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
