The Senior Specialist, Global Purchasing - ESG, is a full time role, located in Taguig city. This role will support the Global Procurement teams of QIAGEN and will be responsible for the following tasks: Process & System Management Support the integration of environmental, social and governmental requirements into QIAGEN s purchasing requirements including the development, improvement and documentation of processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement procurement specific ESG strategies aligned with the company's goals and values Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG-related data and metrics. Help to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks (such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CBAM) Contribute to the creation and implementation of ESG-related policies and/ or creation of new SOP s, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices Conduct training sessions and create educational materials to increase awareness and understanding of ESG principles among employees and stakeholders. Continuous improvement of such training materials and sessions (e.g. on LkSG and other laws which will be upcoming) Identify potential ESG-related risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to minimize risks and leverage opportunities. Keep track of and constantly monitor the risk process Be responsible for the follow up on information shared via the Whistleblower hotline (QIAintegration) Attending and being responsible for the auditing process of our suppliers (preventive and corrective audits) Track and propose system enhancements related to SAP R3/ SAP S4 HANA, SAP SRM, SAP Ariba or any other related systems if ESG relevant Assure updated and continuously improved documentation of all reporting standards Provide support to KPI department that accurate numbers are reported Drive automation and standardization of reporting tools and together with Process, Methods and Tools & define interfaces and data output from leading system (mainly SAP) who needs interfaces to other systems Help in providing content for our non-financial reporting QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Environmental Studies, Business, Sustainability, etc.). Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CSR, LEED) might be preferred. Solid SAP ECC (R3) knowledge SAP S/4 knowledge would be an asset SAP Ariba Minimum of 3 years experience in equivalent role Analytical skills to collect, interpret, and present ESG-related data and metrics. Professional in advanced Excel, PowerPoint Fluent English skills Good team-player Critical-thinking, mathematical, communication & problem-solving Experiences in project and process management Proven track record in process improvement activities Relevant trainings (e.g Six Sigma, Lean) would be preferred Send your application should you be interested for the position.
